The graduating class of 2011 held its official graduation ceremony on June 18th at the Coyote Hills Golf Course of Fullerton. The ceremony began at ten o'clock in the morning with opening remarks by Professor Otis R. Flournoy Jr. Graduates Nomer Rodil and Tatyana Basa gave speeches to congratulate the graduating class on their achievements. Nomer Rodil was awarded with the Alpha Beta Kappa and Tatyana Basa with the Magna Cum Laude. Graduating students received degrees in accounting, business management, electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics engineering. The president of SCIT Dr. Parviz Shams handed out the diplomas to the graduating students. The room was filled to capacity, mostly with friends and family as they were celebrating the graduation of their relatives.
